HMX HYDRA Tactile Switch

The HMX Hydra tactile switch is designed by XLLAB and features a big almost D-shaped tactile bump similar to Retro J. It is an attempt to replicate the classic Gateron Type R's D-shaped bump, but with a touch of the signature HMX clacky sound profile and fantastic stem wobble control. Thanks to the P2 bottom housing, the Hydra switches are one of the clackiest HMX tactile switches so far.

Alexander ★★★★★

These feel noticeably smoother right out of the box compared to other factory-lubed switches I've tried. The tactile bump is big and round, exactly how I like it for typing.

Hannah J. ★★★★★

The D-shaped tactile bump on these switches gives such a satisfying, pronounced click compared to the linear switches I've used before. They feel noticeably smoother right out of the factory lube, which saved me the trouble of applying my own. I'm really impressed with the build quality for the pric

Sebastian D. ★★★★★

The tactile bump is much larger than I expected and really makes the switch feel different from standard linears. It lubed them up and they're noticeably smoother right out of the bag. Exactly what I wanted for a quiet, buttery build.
